Steps

  1. Sign in to your Yahoo! Account. Type in your Yahoo! ID and password. This will open the Yahoo! homepage.
  2. Click on Mail. This will open your Yahoo! Mail account.
  3. Click the gear icon in the top right corner. Click Settings in the menu that appears.
  4. Select Blocked Addresses. Type in the email address you would like to block and click the Block button. You can block up to 500 email addresses on one account. All messages received from the sender will be immediately deleted, and won’t bounce back as un-deliverable.
    • You can block entire domains by entering the domain address into the filter. This is useful if you continue to receive spam from different usernames under the same domain. The domain is the address after the “@” symbol.[1]
    • To remove an address from the blocked list, highlight it and click the Remove button.
