Bus Surf

Are you bored? Bus surfing is simple and fun.

Steps

  1. Get on a bus. Make sure you have room to stand up and have space between you and the other riders.
  2. Bring a friend or two. Bus surfing isn't fun alone (unless you are just bored on a bus ride). Make sure there is enough room for everyone to stand without crashing into each other if you trip.
  3. Each player stands firmly next to a pole. (The metal ones used so people don't fall) The object of the game is to see who has the best balance and who can stand up the longest without falling. Points are added up as thus:
    • 1 point for every block the bus goes by
    • 2 points for every bump the bus goes over
    • 3 points for every turn the bus makes
    • 3 points for if you can stay up when the bus stops short
    • -1 point for touching the pole or any other stationary object
    • -2 points for falling
  4. Additional rules:
    • Absolutely no pushing or trying to make others fall.
    • You cannot hold onto the pole or any other kind of stationary object.
  5. At the end of the game tally up the points to see who wins. Or the last man standing.

Tips

  • Don't forget where you are while you are playing, you don't want to end up somewhere random.

Warnings

  • If the driver asks you to stop, do. Don't get kicked off.
  • Do be reasonable, it is only a game. Don't endanger your safety or another person's safety.
  • Don't do this on a crowded bus. The other passengers won't enjoy you falling on them.
