Cancel Amazon Prime

When you sign up for Amazon Prime, it will renew your membership every year and automatically bill you. To cancel an Amazon Prime membership, you log in to your Amazon account and go to the Manage Prime Membership page.

Steps

  1. Click here to go to the Manage Prime Membership page.
    • If that link doesn't work, go to Amazon. In the Search box, type amazon prime, and then press Enter. On the search results page, click End Your Amazon Prime Membership.
  2. Sign in to your account. Your username is the email address you used to sign up with Amazon.
  3. If you're on an Amazon Prime free trial, click Do not continue.
    • At the end of the Amazon Prime trial, your account will be canceled and you won't be billed for it.
    • If you don't cancel your free trial, you will automatically be upgraded to a paid membership, and you will be billed for that.
  4. If you're on a paid Amazon Prime membership, click End membership.
    • If you haven't received free shipping through Amazon Prime or used any of the Amazon prime benefits, you are eligible for a full refund. If you cancel within three days of signing up, then you are eligible for a free refund.[1]

Warnings

  • When you cancel your Amazon Prime account, your free unlimited photo storage and Cloud Drive access will end. If you want to continue using it, you'll need to pay for it.[2]
