Choose What Type of Sandwiches to Make for a Picnic

Sandwiches are a classic food, and are great for picnics. However, with so many filling choices, it can be tricky to choose.

Steps

  1. Check to see if anybody has any allergies or intolerance. There's nothing worse than going to the trouble of preparing food only to discover it's going to go to waste. It may also cut down options.
  2. Buy both wheat and white bread. However, if it's only you and two others, opt for the one you think everybody will like or won't mind.
  3. Try to make the most of a small amount of ingredients. For example, cheese can make up cheese and ham sandwiches as well as cheese and pickle sandwiches. This will not only limit down your choices but also cut cost and complication.
  4. Theme the picnic! For example, go for an Italian style picnic and make fillings out of tomatoes and Italian cheese.
  5. Finished.

Tips

  • Keep young children in mind. They can be picky eaters so it may be worth asking their parents if they have any particular food dislikes.
  • Also, for young children, try cutting the sandwiches into interesting shapes to make things more fun.

Warnings

  • Keep your food covered so no bugs can get to your food.
