Delete a Twitter Account from the Twitter for iPhone App
Deleting a Twitter Account from the Twitter for iPhone app won't delete or deactivate the account. However, it will remove the account from your iPhone. Steps
- Open the Twitter app on your device.
- Sign in using your username and password.
- Tap the "Me" button located in the bottom right part of the app. Your account information will be displayed.
- Click on the "Accounts" button. It should have an image of two silhouettes.
- Choose your account. Slide to the left so that a "Remove" button will appear.
- Click on the "Remove" button. You will then be directed to the sign in window.
- Double-check if the account has been removed. Go to the Home window and open the Settings icon. Open the Twitter app. The username and password should be blank.
- Sign in using your other Twitter account. Enjoy Tweeting!
