- Find a good ramp to go down. Make sure it is one that can handle your weight and the weight of the scooter. Decide if you want a flat ramp, or a ramp with a slight curve. You should also take into account what material your want the ramp to be made of. (Wood, metal, or other material)
- Kick towards the ramp, building up speed so you can get lots of air.
- While scooting up the ramp, move towards the side. Don't make the turn sharp at risk of falling off of the ramp.
- Pull up on the handlebars when you hit the top of the ramp. Turn your body in a 360 motion.
- Once you are about halfway through, check the ground to make sure you make a solid landing. Make sure you're landing on a hart spot clear of debris and cracks.

- Try to go off the ramp normally first before you try to pull any tricks.
- When you land the jump, keep scooting. This can help you avoid an embarrassing wipeout.
