Down Shift a 6 Speed Truck

Would you like to now how to downshift a stick shift truck? It's the same as shifting, but you are going backward!

Steps

1. Press in the clutch.
2. Take the shifter and bring it all the way over towards the driver's seat. Then, go straight down into first gear.
3. Press in the clutch again.
4. Take the shifter out of first gear and go back into neutral, go over towards the passenger seat a little but not too far, and go up into second gear.
5. Press in the clutch again.
6. Take the shifter and go straight down into third gear.
7. Press in the clutch.
8. Take the shifter, put it back into neutral, go towards the passenger seat again, and go back into fourth gear.
9. Press in the clutch.
10. Take the shifter and take it straight down into fifth gear.
11. Press in the clutch.
12. Take the shifter back into neutral and go all the way over to the passenger seat and go up into sixth gear.
    • If you want to go into reverse, go all the way over towards the driver's seat with the shifter and go up into reverse, don't forget to press in the clutch while doing it.
