Draw a Black Cat
Drawing a black cat can be useful for a great many things, such as making cards, printing a t-shirt picture, or framing a portrait of your mom's favorite cat. Here are instructions for drawing a black cat.
Steps
- Get paper and a pencil.
- Draw an oval. This is the cat's head.
- Draw two pointy ears. Draw two small ones inside. These are the ears.
- Draw two small ovals on the face. Draw a vertical pupil. These are the eyes.
- Draw a small dot in the center. Draw lines coming from it. Draw a J and a backwards J. This is the mouth, nose, and whiskers.
- Draw a big horizontal oval connecting to the right side of the head. This is the body.
- Draw a tail like close parenthesis, ")" at the right end of the big oval.
- Draw four short and thin vertical ovals connected to the bottom of the body. These are the legs. Add small circles to the ends of each. These are the paws.
- Color it. Make a background if you want, or just enjoy it!
Tips
- This is more cartoony, not realistic.
- Use markers to color it.
- Use a pencil for the lines.
- If you use sharpie, it may bleed through!
