Drive a Car (in General)
Well I'm going to show you how to drive a car before you take your drivers exam. this way you'll pass no sweat.
Steps
- When you put your key in the ignition be aware of your surroundings.
- Back out slowly being sure it's safe.
- While driving be aware of stop signs, signals, police, and stopped cars.
- If on the freeway do not weave in and out of lanes.
- Always check your mirrors and blind spot before changing lanes.
- Do not play chicken with other people.
- Before entering an intersection look left and right.
- Always be aware of speed limit signs.
- Sometimes it might not be safe to drive at the speed limit (snow on the road, lots of blind corners) so always drive to the conditions.
- Use your horn ONLY to alert drivers of your presence e.g. if a driver pulls out of a parking space and doesn't see you.
- Some countries such as the UK ban all use of horn between 11PM (23:00) and 7AM (07:00) unless absolutely necessary so make sure you are familiar with your country's rules and regulations regarding this issue.
- Always use you blinker when turning left/right and when getting into a different lane.
- STAY in your lane! Stay straight! Follow the rules of the road.
Tips
- Always be aware of every direction around you.
- Stay safe on the roads.
- Always signal and look at the speed limit signs.
