Drive a Car with any Transmission
Here is how to drive a car with manual or automatic transmission.

Steps
If driving a car with automatic
- Make sure the stick, gear, or shift is in P (Park).
- If going backwards move the stick, gear, or shift to R (Reverse). If going forwards move the stick to D (Drive).
If driving a car with manual
- Make sure the car is parked. At least this is either parked or on neutral.
- Put the stick, gear, or shift to 1 (1st gear).
- If driving, sometimes upshift and downshift.
Tips
- Notice that there are not a clutch on an automatic. There is only a clutch on a manual.
- Make sure to properly drive the car.
- Recommended shift points: 1500 to 6250 rpm on cars 2000 to 14250 on motorcycles
- Do not shift while on train tracks
Warnings
- Be careful with manual. You could sometimes go to the red line. Most likely 4000 to 15000
