Steps

  1. Breathe smoothly. Take deep breaths but not too loudly. Breathe in and out until you feel a bit sleepy.
  2. Think about how exciting it will be when you're out of your seat. Keep thinking it over and over.
  3. Count backwards from 100 to 1. Do this slowly and you'll eventually feel asleep.
  4. Take a power nap. Schedule the duration in accordance with the time it will take to reach your destination.
