Fingerwhip on a Scooter
When scootering, a fingerwhip is a very advanced move. They consist of using your hand, or fingers, to rotate the deck of the scooter 360 degrees around the base of the handle bars. A fingerwhip is like a tailwhip, but the hand is used to spin the deck.
Steps
- Use a large ramp or a quarterpipe with enough room to land at the top, launch yourself off the ramp with enough speed to get at least {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} of air.
- Bring the scooter up and reach down at the same time. Make sure to keep the scooter directly under your body.
- Use a stiff hand to hit the side of the deck hard.
- Lower the scooter back towards the ground. It's important for the scooter to touch the ground before your feet do.
- Land with both feet on top of the scooter (that's important) and keep your balance.
- Celebrate, but don't get too cocky.
Tips
- This will take lots of practice. And then some.
Warnings
