Hide Icons on Your Blackberry Desktop

The Blackberry Curve is a very complex device, using it can be a hard, complicated process. So one thing that you learn when you first get a Blackberry is - hiding icons, which I will show you how to do!

Steps

  1. Go to the area you want to the hide icon(s).
  2. Using the trackball, scroll to the icon you want to hide.
  3. Press the Blackberry Menu button.
  4. Scroll to the "Hide" option on the Blackberry Menu Button.
  5. The icon will disappear.
  6. To bring the Icon back, press the Blackberry Menu button again.
  7. Press the "Show All" button. A transparent version of hidden icon will appear. Scroll to it, and press the Blackberry Menu button again. Now click the "Hide" again.
  8. The icon will no longer be hidden.
  9. Don't forget to uncheck the "Show All" button so none of your hidden icons are showing!

Tips

  • If you have nosy parents, hide your Messages and then "Show All" to go to your messages.
  • Organize your Blackberry with folders, and hide unwanted icons.
