Install BMW Retrofit HID

This installation is demonstrated on a Pre-LCI halogen headlight to upgrade it to HID. If your headlights is Pre-LCI, you can get rid of that halogen output and get a beautiful, white HID glow.

Steps

1. Remove the lens carefully using a heat gun and a set of screwdrivers.
2. Measure to see which shroud can fit inside with a projector.
3. Install the Morimoto H1 Mini projector. The projector comes with an H7 adapter as well as a bolt-on mechanism.
4. If the shroud does not fit perfectly, you can grind it a little to clear the bowl.
5. Install the shroud.
6. Place the lens back to see if clearance is okay. Clear the dry glue from the edges and reseal the headlight with silicone.
