Make a Banana Margarita
Bananas are an excellent fruit choice to add to drinks, whether it's a smoothie, mocktail, or alcoholic treat. Using mashed bananas in this blended margarita will give you another reason to enjoy the weekend. Here is how to make a banana margarita.

Ingredients
- Caster/superfine sugar
- 1 oz (30 ml) crème de bananas
- 1 oz (30 ml) gold tequila
- 1/2 oz (15 ml) triple sec
- 3/4 oz (22.5 ml) lemon juice
- 1/4 mashed banana
- 1/2 cup crushed ice
Steps
- Assemble the ingredients.
- Prepare the margarita glass. Wet the rim of the glass with lemon juice and lightly dip it into caster sugar.
- Measure and add all ingredients to a blender.
- Add crushed ice.
- Blend until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the glass.
- Garnish the drink with a lemon juice-dipped banana slice.
- Finished.
