Tasty to the mouth, pure to the throat - frozen margaritas will chill your hot summer down when you want to enjoy a margarita in a different way.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1 container of frozen limeade
  • 1 1/2 oz (45 mL) of tequila
  • 1/2 oz (15 mL) of Cointreau
  • 3 oz (90 mL) of sour mix
  • lime wedge
  • salt or sugar (optional)

Steps

  1. Scoop and place the ice cubes in the blender.
  2. Pour the Triple Sec, lime juice, tequila, and sour mix on top of the ice.
  3. Blend everything together until you get a smooth mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into glasses and enjoy.
  5. Finished.

Tips

  • You can "salt the rim" by running a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and swirling the wet rim in a small plate of coarse salt. Sugar is also used.
  • Garnish your drink by inserting a lime wedge onto the rim.
  • Add a small handful of fruit to the blender to give your frozen drink a little fruity taste.

Warnings

  • Be careful while handling the blender machinery. For safety precautions, it should not be handled by anyone that is intoxicated.
  • Always drink responsibly.
