Make a Jello Margarita

Jello shots are a great adult party drink. The flavors of the gelatin and alcohol match perfectly, and with many unique variations of how to make one, there are endless possibilities to enjoy them. Here is how to make a Jello margarita.

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup (120 mL) Jose Cuervo gold tequila
• 1/2 cup (120 mL) margarita mix
• 1 cup (240 mL) boiling water
• 1 box Jello gelatin powder
• 1 slice lime

Steps

1. Add the boiling water and Jello powder to a medium saucepan. Thoroughly stir until the powder has dissolved.
2. Measure and pour the tequila and margarita mix into the saucepan.
3. Salt the margarita glass rim, if desired.
4. Carefully pour the Jello mixture in the margarita glass.
5. Place the glass in the refrigerator until the Jello has set.
6. Garnish the glass with the lime slice and enjoy. It's helpful to provide a small teaspoon to help consume it.

• Experiment with different Jello flavors, especially in a rainbow Jello variety.
