Make a Frozen Mango Margarita
The tangy taste of mango in a slushy margarita will light up any party!

Ingredients
- 1 shot (45 mL) of tequila
- 1/2 shot (22.5 mL) of triple sec
- 1 mango
- few drops of simple syrup
- 1 tablespoon (11.25 mL) of lemon juice
- 2 handfuls or a cup of ice cubes
Steps
- Cut the mango into slices and puree the pieces in a blender or food processor with a few drops of simple syrup.
- Blend the tequila, triple sec, mango puree, lemon juice, and ice cubes together.
- Blend until everything is smooth and the ice cubes are all blended within the drink. You will know when you don't hear the ice crushing.
- Pour the margarita mixture into individual glasses.
- Garnish the cups with your favorite tropical fruit, for example pineapples.
- Serve and enjoy.
Tips
- Simple syrup is a mixture of sugar and water which is used in many cocktails. Use 1 part sugar to 1 part water to make "bar" simple syrup or 2 parts sugar to 1 part water to make "rich" simple syrup.
