Make a Duct Tape Bowl
Have you ever wanted to create a useful, funky decoration for your room? A duct tape bowl is perfect. Follow these steps to create a basic bowl that you can add your own personal flair to.
Steps
- Cut eight (8) strips of duct tape each {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} long.
- Set six (6) of the strips that you cut in the previous step aside.
- Make a cross from the remaining two (2) strips with the sticky side up on both pieces.
- Repeat Step 3 three (3) more times with the remaining six (6) strips, making three more crosses.
- Use two (2) of the crosses to make an asterisk sticky side up, and repeat with the other two.
- You should now have two asterisks. With sticky sides facing each other, lay one of asterisk on top of the other slightly off center, so you have exposed sticky edges.
- Assume that the asterisk is a compass, and that the top point is north.
- Connect the north point with the northeast point, bringing the adjacent (two sides next to each other) sides together, and taping them. Go clockwise around the entire asterisk.
- Tape as necessary to cover up holes and trim the edges.
- Finished. Your bowl is now ready for use!
