Make a Heart with Paper Quilling
Template:Pictures Paper hearts are great for occasions such as Valentine's Day, an anniversary, or just to make for fun! This article will teach you how to make cute curled hearts out of quilling paper.
Steps
Single Heart
- Get any strip of paper suitable for quilling. A longer strip will make a larger heart.
- Fold the strip in half.
- Start from one end of the strip and start quilling the paper towards the center. Stop at the halfway point. Do the same to the other end.
- Pinch the center of the strip again (in between the two quilled circles) to make the point of the heart. The circles will unroll a little.
- Using a toothpick, put a dot of glue on one of the two circles and gently press the circles together for at least 3 seconds.
One Heart with Multiple Curls
- Cut out a paper heart.
- Get multiple strips of paper suitable for quilling.
- Start quilling the paper into circles.
- Once enough circles are made to fill up the heart, glue the circles to the paper heart.
Tips
- Other shapes besides circles can be used to fill out the heart in method 2.
