Make an Envelope Using Heart Shaped Paper
Nothing sets off a home made greeting card like a beautiful envelope. Making your very own unique envelope for a shop bought greeting card or small present can make your gesture more personal. Making envelopes may seem a hard thing, but it's not, so follow the steps in this article and make an envelope using heart shaped paper.
Steps
- Get a heart shaped paper. You can choose between colored or not.
- Fold a square sheet of paper in half
- Hold the fold vertically pointing to the side of your writing hand
- Draw half a heart starting from and ending at the folded side
- Cut it out from end to end
- Remove the outer cut and open the sheet of paper
- Place the paper on it's colored side.
- Fold both the right side and left side of the heart.
- Make sure the the fold is at the center of the curve on each side
- Fold the top downwards.
- Make sure the center of the top of the heart is folded down.
- Turn the paper upside down.
- Place the card or small gift in the envelope.
- Apply some glue to the pointed side.
- Fold the pointed side downwards.
- Apply glue to seal the envelope
- Apply paper glue behind the lower tip of the envelope
- Press it close firmly for a few seconds
Tips
- Use colorful paper so that the envelope looks attractive.
