Make Paper Hearts for Valentine's Day

Their are many holidays such as Christmas, Easter, and Halloween but Valentines day is a very special day. Valentine hearts are a great way to express love to a friend, or family member. This article will teach you how to make a heart for Valentines day.

Steps

1. Gather materials.  You will need some paper and scissors. The paper can be any color you want, but for a special Valentine's day touch, you could choose paper in red or pink.
2. Take the piece of paper and fold it in half. Make you you fold it well in a straight line, otherwise the heart will come out lopsided.
3. On the folded side of the paper cut a half-heart shape with the scissors.
4. Unfold the piece of paper. Congratulations, you have just made a paper heart!

Tips

• You can decorate the heart with pencils, crayons or even markers to make it stand out more.
