Ride a Child's Bike for the First Time

Are you tired of training wheels? Do you want to know how to ride a two-wheeler bike? It's simple.

Steps

  1. Buckle your helmet.
  2. Find a flat spot with a slight incline or hill.
  3. Prepare your bike. Oil the chain, and check tire pressure. Adjust the bike to your height. The seat should be just high enough for your toes to touch the ground.
  4. With your right hand on the handlebar and your left hand on the seat (opposite if it feels more comfortable), lift your leg over the crossbar and mount your bike. Leave both feet on the ground.
  5. Put one foot on the pedal. Leave the other foot to balance.
  6. Lift the other foot. Practice balancing.
  7. Try to ride your bike for a little while. And don't forget to go fast. It's important to go fast because the faster you go, the less likely you are to tip.
  8. If you have good balance, you will be able to ride your bike quickly. Keep going up and down the hill until you have the hang of it.
  9. After you've ridden a little while, and you're confident in your new skills, you can go onto the sidewalk where you may be able to ride longer than you did before.
  10. Keep on practicing!
  11. That's it! Enjoy riding your bike!
