Turn Off Your Check Engine Light
Your check engine light comes on on your way to work or school. Now what do you do? A person that doesn't know much about engines would probably think that their car is getting ready to blow up or something. well that's not always the case.
Steps
The first small problem
- The first small problem that could be turning your "check engine" light on is the catalytic converter. it is part of the exhaust system. To replace this part can cost anywhere from $50 to $250 depending on where you buy the part from.
the other small fix
- The other small fix that takes no knowledge and no cost is your gas cap. If your gas cap is loose, that can cause your "check engine" light to turn on also.
