  1. Make an action plan. Consider what things you'll do together to pass the time. What are the common activities that you enjoy doing together? Don't do it if you don't want to, are not ready, or it goes against your beliefs. Get separate rooms or a divided share room if you're not prepared for the inevitable assumptions. Be upfront about it and discuss this aspect before you go to avoid misunderstandings and upsets.
  3. Follow the rules if you are underage. Don't drink, do drugs, party, have sex, or stay out all night alone if you are underage.
