Start an Airline
Have you ever wanted to start an airline? Imagine your name printed on the side of a massive Airbus A380 or 747! If you want to start an airline then you've come to the right place!
Steps
- Managing Expenses. Before you start an airline you must think about these expenses:Once that you have all this set your ready to start!
- Aviation Fuel;
- An aircraft;
- Crew member wages;
- Maintenance;
- Food (optional);
- Entertainment (optional);
- Airport Charges.
- Start Small. We all know that you can't just go out and buy a Dreamliner or an A330 unless your a multimillionaire or a billionaire. Save up some money, and buy a small aircraft such as a Cessna 172, Jabiru, Pilatus PC-12
- Employ Staff. Look around for pilots that would like to fly for you (of course they would expect a wage). This may be a family or friend. Once you have found a pilot, you have to agree on a wage for them, something suitable might be twenty-thousand a year
- Prepare Destinations. *When you first start DO NOT plan long haul flights* this will make things way too expensive and time-consuming. Start with just 30-50km (18.6-31m) runs. E.G. Sacremento-San Fransisco.
- Prepare Ticket Costs. Charge around $150 for a {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} journey. This way you will make some money and leave some over for fuel price and so forth.
- Get Known. Hang up posters around the town or ask friends to spread the word that you are creating a new airline! For the launch day offer $5 flights for a view of the city. This will make you become very popular and known. In no time you will have people calling to make bookings. Small airlines are a very good means of travel for the elderly.
- Start Flying! Once you are known start flying passengers! (And earning some money.)
- Expand. Stockpile lots of money. In about 10-20 years you should be able to buy more aircraft and bigger fleets. In no time you will be flying A330s and 747s like other airlines. Expand your destinations and create long haul flights. Become the best airline ever.
