The ability to touch your nose with your tongue is a genetic trait. If you have the right genes, you still need to learn how to get the tip of your tongue to your nose. Remember, not everyone can do this!

Steps
- Stretch your tongue out straight in front making a point with the tip.
- Pull your upper lip down over your top row of teeth.
- Using your lower lip to help, bend your tongue up over your upper lip towards your nose.
- Relax and point the tip of your tongue to touch the closest point of your nose.
Tips
- It might help to do stretching exercises sticking your tongue out as far as it goes.
- Make sure your nose, upper lip, hands and the area in between are clean.
- The first couple of times you can use your finger to help the tip of the tongue toward your nose.
- If your tongue won't reach your nose,and it is very close to it,push your bottom lip upwards or use your fingers.
- Just not getting there? Boast that you can "stick out your tongue and touch your nose" instead. It won't impress anyone, but it might at least get a laugh.

- There are several physical traits needed to make it possible to touch your nose.
