Write Good Keywords for a Job Seeker Blog Post

If you are a job seeker and you happen to have a blog, then writing a post to direct employers to your site is a very smart move. You can utilize your blog to direct those who are interested to your resume online. Catchy words will drive more traffic to your blog, so take the time to learn what language works!

Steps

  1. Try to use positive adjectives and put them into the tag in order to get more traffic. Make sure you link your blog with your online Curriculum Vitae or Resume. Some positive adjectives such as: creative, self-starter, problem solver, etc.
  2. Put your polished CV in your LinkedIn profile so that potential employers or your targeted company's Human Resources can find you easily when they Google your name.
  3. Do not lie on your credentials. You can use better more-emphasizing positive words in calling your credentials. For example: if you are pushy in chasing to make sure your project is done early or on time you can use the word 'assertive' and 'persistent' rather than 'aggressive'.
