Describe the social structure of Mesopotamia

The Mesopotamian society was broadly divided into three different classes - the upper, middle and lower class. The upper class, which was very powerful and played the most important role, comprised Priests and nobles. The middle class consisted of landlords, traders and craftsmen, while the lower most class of the society consisted of slaves.
