Draw Dresses

Have you ever drawn a girl, but not known how to make her cute clothes? Well, this article will help you learn how to draw a few cute dress designs that you can color any way you like.

Steps

Basic Dress

  1. Look carefully at your girl. Make sure you are satisfied with her appearance before going in for the clothes.
  2. Draw a small loop at the base of her neck like you were going to draw a shirt.
  3. Continue to draw a shirt.

When you get to the bottom of the shirt design, keep going.

  1. Make your lines swoop out. Close them at the bottom.
  2. Add some slightly curved lines going down the dress to create folds or ripples in the cloth.

Old Timey Dress

  1. Start with the previous step one.
  2. Follow the previous step two.
  3. Now start at the top of the neck hole. Draw two half ovals sideways down it.
  4. Make long sleeves with frill on the ends.
  5. Finish the bottom like the previous dress, but end it with frill like the sleeves.
  6. Don't forget to add the ripples/folds.

Final Dress for prom

  1. Draw a V-Neck that goes down far.
  2. You can add a U for an undershirt, but for maximum sexiness, just draw cleavage. (Hint: This is NOT a good dress for young girls.)
  3. Draw a curvy dress figure. If desired, you can make the dress have tank top sleeves.
  4. Draw the dress covering her feet.
  5. Start from the line at the bottom and do a very slim triangle going up. This should stop just at the top of her thigh.
  6. Erase the bottom of the triangle. It's done! The triangle up the thigh and the low V-neck are what add that sexy element
  7. Finished. Be sure to decorate with any designs you would like.



Tips

  • Experiment with colors and designs to find a great dress.
  • If needed, draw the dress separately on another paper and play with it before you draw it on your girl. This minimizes erasing amounts.
  • If you are more comfortable with regular clothes (casual) the dress is not really the best choice.
  • Be creative.
