Jump on a Scooter

Jumping on a scooter is useful in that it allows you to jump over obstacles or curbs. It's a simple maneuver that takes five minutes to learn.

Steps

  1. Ride your scooter at a comfortable pace.
  2. Place your feet securely on your scooter, distributing your weight evenly.
  3. Grip your handlebars and bend down slightly (depending on how high you want to jump).
  4. Jump up and pull up on your handlebars at the same time. You should be in the air evenly, not tilting forwards or backwards.
  5. Land safely and ride away.

Tips

  • Landing on uneven surfaces may cause you to fall.
  • Jump on consistent surfaces first. Then progress to elevated areas or other terrain.

Warnings
