Make a Banana Blueberry Smoothie

Do you want something cool and refreshing on those hot summer days? Why not make a Banana Blueberry smoothie?

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe, medium-sized banana
  • 3/4 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup non-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup of skim milk (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of crushed ice

Steps

  1. Get 1 ripe medium banana. Peel and place in the blender. The softer the banana is, the smoother your smoothie will be.
  2. Next get 3/4 cup blueberries. Try to get buy them as fresh as possible for the best flavor. Rinse the blueberries in water, then place in the blender.
  3. Add in the rest of the ingredients. Place 1/4 cup of vanilla yogurt, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 3/4 cup of skim milk (if you want), and 1/2 cup of crushed ice into the blender.
  4. Blend until smooth. Once you think that it's smooth enough, pour into a glass and enjoy! Now you have a perfect smoothie for the summer.
