Make a Honey and Banana Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 whole banana
  • Natural yogurt
  • Honey
  • 150 milliliters milk
  • 3 small oranges
  • 1 lime (optional)

Steps

  1. Cut a banana into thin slices. Add the pieces in a blender and mix it for a few seconds.
  2. Turn off the blender after around 2 minutes and add in a non sweetened natural yogurt, {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} of milk, the juice of three large oranges and a dollop of honey.
  3. Turn the blender back on again. This time leave it for around 2-3 minutes.
  4. Turn off the blender, remove the blades and pour into a large glass. This makes enough for 1 person. Add in another banana if you want it to be for two.
  5. Finished.

Tips

  • If you have a sweet tooth you could add in a bit more honey but never add sugar.
  • If you squeeze some lime juice around the rim of the glass it gives it a nice tangy flavour.
  • If you like your smoothies to be nice and thick then you could reduce the amount of milk in it and add in another banana instead.
  • Try squeezing your own orange juice; it tastes so much nicer.
