Make a Fried Egg Sandwich
Great for on-the-go, especially for breakfast meals. This is a recipe for the classic fried egg sandwich.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 slices of bread
- Butter or mayonnaise
- Tomato ketchup or brown sauce
- 1 tbsp sunflower or olive oil
Steps
- Spread butter or mayonnaise on the two slices of bread.
- Oil and heat a medium sized pan. Break two eggs in the heated pan and flick a dab of cooking oil on top of the egg yolks.
- Fry your eggs to your liking.
- Place the two eggs on one slice of bread. Dab any toppings you wish or anything else you want to add in your sandwich, for example lettuce or tomatoes.
- Turn the other slice of bread over, so that the buttered side is towards the eggs. Cut your sandwich in half and enjoy.
- Finished.
Tips
- Flicking oil on top of the egg yolks will help it cook all the way through instead of from the bottom up.
