Remove Weather and Stocks from the iOS Notification Center

This article teaches you how to remove weather and stock market information from the Notification Center on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Swipe right from the home screen.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the Notification Center.
4. Tap Edit.
5. Tap ⛔️ next to "Weather".
6. Tap Remove.

Steps

  1. Go to the home screen. Do so by pressing the round Home button below the screen on the face of your device.
  2. Swipe right. This opens the "Today" screen of the Notification Center.
  3. Scroll down. Do so until you reach the bottom of the Notification Center.
  4. Tap Edit. It's a round button at the bottom of the Notification Center.
  5. Tap ⛔️ next to "Weather". It appears to the left of the Weather widget in the first section of the screen.
  6. Tap Remove. It will appear to the right of the Weather widget. Weather information will no longer appear in Notification Center.
  7. Tap ⛔️ next to "Stocks". It appears to the left of the Stocks widget in the first section of the screen.
  8. Tap Remove at the right of the Stocks widget.
  9. Tap Done in the upper-right corner. Stock market information will no longer appear in the Notification Center.
