Scoot Well
Using a scooter can be difficult for everyone, but there are a few inner tricks that are key to using and riding your scooter well and fast.
Steps
- Push with your feet HARD. This will give you the needed momentum to jump start your scooter, and also the natural speed to keep moving a few seconds while you get in the desired position on your scooter. Make sure that you start by pushing off with your dominant foot, while your non-dominent foot is on the base of the scooter.
- Get used to the odd steering of the scooter. While you may feel like you didn't turn the handle bars a whole lot, the overall steering stick and steering wheel of a scooter is small and will turn much farther than you will think. Keep the turns tight and smooth for best outcomes.
Warnings
- Always ride scooters with caution and watch for traffic. Wear a helmet whenever scootering over a hard surface.
