Sell Your Bike
Do you have an old bike in your garage that you don't use anymore? You can get sell it, and earn money off of it!
Steps
- Fix up your bike.
- Advertise your bike. Look for websites to put it on sale, or hang up flyers on community bulletin boards, or run an ad in the newspaper.
- Set a price. A fair price ensures that the first rather then the richest buyer ends up with the bike.
- Set a meeting with potential buyers in a public place, like a park. It is safer to sell your bike in a public area then in your home. Display the bike to them and show its condition.
- When your bike has been sold, take down all posters so people don't come to you for a bike that you have already sold.
Tips
- If you know a friend who is having a garage sale, go and ask if you can put your bike in it (and you keep the money).
Warnings
- If you try tip one, don't' give the bike to someone who is having a sale that you don't know it can be dangerous
