Send a Broadcast Message on WhatsApp
WhatsApp is a cross-platform messaging app that allows users to communicate over Internet data or Wi-Fi without having to pay for SMS. WhatsApp allows users to send Broadcast Messages, which is a mass message to many people that only allows them to reply individually to you and does not let recipients see each other. Steps
- Launch WhatsApp from your smartphone.
- Tap "Chats" on the navigation bar.
- Select "Broadcast Message."
- Tap on contacts to select them as recipients of the message. You can send a broadcast message to a maximum of 256 contacts.
- Confirm your selection of recipients. The "Done" button will change to reflect the number of recipients you have selected for your broadcast message, out of a maximum of 25. Tap this button.
- Type your message and attach a photo, video, location, or contact if you wish.
- Tap "Send" to send your Broadcast Message.
Tips
- Contacts will only receive your Broadcast Message if they have added your phone number to their contacts. This is to prevent spam.
