Set up eyeHear

Guid'd has created the eyeHear device to assist visually impaired people in their every day lives. A bluetooth earpiece connects with the drone to guide the user as they need. This article describes step-by-step how to set up your own eyeHear!

Steps

1. Remove the eyeHear from the packaging.
2. Plug the power cord into the product and connect to a power source to charge the device.
3. Leave charging for at least one hour.
4. Hold down the bluetooth button on both the earpiece and the device to connect them to each other.
5. Insert the earpiece into your ear.
6. Press the power button on the drone.
7. First time users at this point will be asked to say certain phrases to set up accurate voice recognition.
8. Your eyeHear device is now ready to use!

Tips

• The bluetooth connection between the earpiece and the drone should only need to be completed once throughout it's lifetime.

Warnings

• Ensure voice recognition is set up before trying to use the device as instructions may not be recognised if this is not done.
