Start a Mobile Car Wash Business

If you're starting a mobile car wash business and need help getting it up and running then read on.

Steps

  1. Be ready. Be sure you have the equipment needed to wash cars e.g. (Soap, a sponge, a hose, and a bucket) and the adequate skills and/or personnel.
  2. Create a brand. Come up with a name for your business, along with primary goals, objectives and major focus. Prepare up a modus operandi that would be followed when your business starts up. For instance, would you do pickup and/or delivery, or vice versa? Do you offer customers cars free air? Etc. Also establish ground rules, expansion and customer benefits plan. You may think this is going too far, but this is the framework on which your mobile carwash business will be built.
  3. Advertise your business. Advertisement could be oral (by word of mouth), in print (where you create flyers to publicize your business) through the media, or the internet (you could use sites such as Craiglist). Make sure to include what service you are offering (a mobile car wash business) and contact information so intending customers could find you. You can include a picture and prices if you wish. Just be sure to crosscheck your prices to be sure they aren't too exorbitant, or that they tally with the range of others in the same business.
  4. Wait for people to call. It may take time before people get in contact with you but be patient.
