Talk to Your Crush Via Email

Ever been stuck trying to answer an email from your crush without sounding too arrogant? Well, now you can succeed!

Steps

  1. Find out your crush's email.
  2. Don't sound like you're saying something smart (like a know-it-all). Be clear with your answer, but still flirtatious. For example if they ask "What's for homework?", simply answer with the list of what's for homework and coyly add that they should email or call if they need some help with it.
  3. If your crush keeps emailing, score! You've got 'em, but make sure they like you back before mentioning something personal or intimate.
  4. If you are smarter than your crush, make no comments that are sarcastic, confusing or unanswerable.
  5. If you begin talking everyday and he or she hasn't emailed you yet that day ... be brave, just email, "Hi" or "Hey," and they should continue the conversation from there.
  6. Never get too clingy, always expecting an email. Don't continuously check your email. It may just make you feel desperate and less confident.
  7. If you tell them you like them via email make sure they like you back.
  8. If they tell you they like you via email, do not be scared, simply email back with "I like you," but only if you do, or say "Thanks, but we're just friends," and wait for the next email.
  9. If you are receiving emails from your crush within 3-5 minutes of sending them, they are hooked, so just keep going.

Tips

  • Flirting is easier online than offline (in person), but don't overdo it! Give them some compliments and put some littleĀ ;)'s (winks).
  • Sound confident. Believe it or not, insecurities and being scared can transfer via email and the people on the other end will be able to tell.
  • Touch on the idea of talking on the phone or in person.
  • Believe it or not, there is such thing as being overconfident. Take it slow, ask him/her questions about them, and let them ask questions about you. Don't act like she/he just pronounced you their official girl/boyfriend just because they replied to your email!
  • Make sure that when you see each other in person that you look good.
  • AIM or some other IM is preferable.

Warnings

  • This may cause you and your crush to be awkward around each other, even in a group. Just be confident - talk a little, but do not ignore them!

Things You'll Need

  • Confidence.
  • An email address and a computer to use it on.
  • A crush.
