View Hidden Information on MySpace

As you are browsing Myspace, you come across some profiles that are customized or are missing boxes or blocks of the original Myspace layout. You're probably wondering, "How do I view what they hid?". There's a way.

Steps

  1. Download and install Mozilla Firefox if you don't have it already. This only works with Firefox.
  2. Sign into your Myspace account and go to the profile with the hidden information.
  3. Click on "View" in the Upper left menu of FireFox.
  4. Click on "Page Style" in the menu that drops down.
  5. Click on "No Style" in the options given.
  6. Notice that any design/customizations will blank out, but all the information will pop up.

Tips

  • This method is not a Myspace code nor "hack". It is a Mozilla Firefox "feature" where you can enable and disable page styles on the current internet page you are on.
  • This does NOT work on private profiles. There is no way to view a private profile if you are not on their friend's list.
  • However, this will work in blogs. Any status on the left hand column and any CSS will disappear, as you'll have the ability to read hidden blog comments and dates/times that the blog was created.
  • There's no way to hide information from this method, so if you have someone on your friend's list that you prefer not to be known about - the safest way is to not be their friend in the first place.
  • If you have Opera, you can make an icon to click that turns off the page's style just like Firefox.
