What was Hammurabi's code of law?

King Hammurabi carved his code of laws on a splendid column of hard stone, which is considered to be the earliest complete record of laws ever found in the world. These laws covered trade, business and prices, family, criminal and civil laws. The main aim of these laws was "The strong shall not injure the weak". The law is completely based on old customs and traditions and deals with every part of human life.
