While your natural color may look great, and your clothes are all bought to match the color of your hair, you may just want to become a blonde. A color change can change your entire outlook and feelings about yourself. If you go from brunette to blonde, you are making a drastic difference, and it may take you a few days to recognize yourself in the mirror!

- Look at the various magazines, and color charts, and decide what shade of blonde you would like. There are many. Select one that goes well with your skin tone.
- Go to a reputable beauty parlor -- perhaps one where you have had a haircut in the past.
- Talk to the colorist, and ask her to color match various colors of blonde to your skin tone.
- Ask her opinion about which shade she thinks would look best on you.
- Return in a few days, after you have thought it over. Remember that once you become blonde, you cannot immediately return to your natural color.
Tips
- Try adding some individual highlights first, so that when you go full blonde, it won't be as drastic. highlights are easier to go back on.
- Platinum (snow) blonde hair dye can be obtained by mixing snowballs and blonde hair dye in a bowl or jug.
Warnings
- Don't try to dye your hair blonde at home if you have anything darker than a light brown. It won't turn out right.
