Do a No Handed Jump on a Bike

Doing a no-hander on a bike seems easy, but its all in how you prepare for the trick.

Steps

  1. Have a jump you can get at least a foot of air off of. You should be comfortable with the jump.
  2. Have a moderate speed and when you approach the jump get ready to hop.
  3. Jump the jump as if it was casual and when in the air throw the handlebars into your upper-thighs and bring your legs up at the same time while throwing your arms out to the side.
  4. Send your arms back to the bars and level your bike with the landing.
  5. Ride away smoothly.

Tips

  • Try thrusting your arms behind you after you get more comfortable with the trick
  • To make it easier to grip the bars straighten out your legs a little bit and you will get some space in between your legs and your bars
  • If you don't have enough air you will land on your back tire no-handed and crash

Warnings

  • If you fall on this trick, you could get a concussion or worse as explained in the tips section, so make sure you wear a helmet and have enough air to perform the trick
