Draw a Box
Drawing a box is a very simple task to do. This article shows you how to draw a box.
Steps
- Draw a square. This makes the front of your box.
- Draw straight lines going up and right from all four corners of the square.
- Connect the 2 top extending lines. This makes the top of your box.
- Connect the 2 bottom extending lines. This makes the bottom of your box.
- Connect the top right extending corner to the bottom right extending corner. This makes the right side of your box.
- Connect the top left extending corner to the farthest bottom left corner. This finishes the outline of the box.
- Color the top of the box, the right side, and the side facing you if you don't want your box to be see-through.
Tips
- If you want to be a little more artistic, put some words around it and/or little pictures such as Fragile or Handle With Care.
- The inside of the box could be a little more interesting if you drew something in it, and in areas where there is nothing.
- Try shading everything so that it looks realistic.
- An easy method is to draw two boxes with the top right corner overlapping another squares bottom left corner to create a smaller square. Then just connect the corners. (bottom left corner to bottom left corner, top right corner to top left corner, etc...)
- You can make it bigger and smaller, wider and thinner. Try different colors and shading. Experiment and see what you come up with!
Warnings
- Don't rub a hole through the paper when erasing
- Be careful when drawing on paper- paper cuts can really hurt.
