Draw a Totem Pole

Ever wanted to draw your very own totem pole? Just follow this tutorial and you'll learn how to!

Note: follow the red lines for each step.

Steps

Start off by drawing a cross or T-shape using 2 rectangles.
Add several horizontal lines for the division of each part of the totem pole.
Now start drawing the bird face at the top of the pole. Use geometric shapes and don't get too realistic.
The next division is for the bird body and wings. The body should consist of the feet. While the wings consists of several rectangles and triangles at the end.
For the next section draw a face. Remember to use geometric shapes rather than drawing it too realistic.
Draw a monkey holding the totem pole upright. (see image)
Ink in the drawing and erase the sketch.
Color the drawing and there you have it! Your very own totem pole.
