Make Hyderabadi Vegetable Biryani

Hyderabadi vegetable biryani is a vegetable-rich, aromatic dish that isn't difficult to put together. The vegetables are cooked until perfectly done, they layered with rice and heated over a low flame to let the flavors meld. The result is a delicious, healthful Indian dish.

Ingredients

    • Cauliflower
    • Baby Corn
    • Lemon
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Cooking Oil
  • Mint Leaves (for garnishing)

Steps

  1. Soak rice in water.
  2. Get the vegetables cut and ready.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Add onions and fry them to golden brown.
  5. Add ginger garlic paste to the onions and fry, add cumin turmeric, garam masala and clove.
  6. Add tomatoes and fry. The number of onions and tomatoes used should be equal.
  7. Add the cut vegetables (carrots, potatoes, green peas, cauliflower, baby corn) and cook them on low flame for about 15 minutes.
  8. Add salt to the cooked vegetables.
  9. Cook the soaked rice in such a way that each grain of the rice remains separate.
  10. Take another pan and grease its surface with oil.
  11. Add a layer of cooked rice.
  12. Add a layer of cooked vegetables on top of it.
  13. Add another layer of rice.
  14. Heat this assembly on a very low flame for 5-10 minutes.
