Make a Watermelon Yogurt Mint Smoothie

A refreshing, drinkable breakfast or anytime pick-me-up. Serve at a luncheon buffet, or a kids' party to give them the grown up look with a non-alcoholic drink.

Ingredients

  • 1-to-2 cups seedless watermelon chunks
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves or to taste
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Some yogurt

Steps

  1. Add watermelon, honey and mint to a blender or food processor.
  2. Puree for a short time making sure not to over blend. It should be on the thick side and not watery.
  3. Pulse in the yogurt and cinnamon just until smooth.
  4. Serves 1 or 2.



Tips

  • Remember that watermelon will turn to water if over-blended. The consistency should be like a smoothie, on the thick side.
