Make Watermelon in a Blanket
Pigs in a Blanket might be great for adult cocktail parties, but for the kids' parties, try something more delicious and nutritious and fun to eat. Watch their smiles when you walk out and serve these at the next party. This recipe makes 12 servings.
Ingredients
- 12 pre-made or purchased crepes
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar
- 12 (1-inch by 8-inch) seedless watermelon “logs," drained to remove excess moisture
- Vanilla and lemon yogurt for dipping
Steps
- Buy ready made crepes or make your own.
- Sprinkle one side with cinnamon sugar.
- Place a watermelon log at the end of each.
- Roll them up and serve with the flavored yogurts for dipping.
- Finished.
Tips
- Make extra because the kids will want seconds.
- Try this with bananas or any other fruit you like if you are not a big melon fan.
